HIS LORDSHIP, RT. REV'D EPHRAIM OKECHUKWU IKEAKOR

Rt. Rev’d. Ephraim Okechukwu Ikeakor was born in Port Harcourt to the family of late Mr. Hezekiah and Mrs Ada Ikeakor of Umugama village, Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area, of Anambra state on 4th May, 1996. He attended Primary School, Umuchu; Umuchu High School; and Nnamdi Azikiwe UniversityAwka (formerly, Anmabra University of Technology), from where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate; West African School Certificate; and B.sc (Political Science); B.Sc (Library Science); B.Ed. (Education Management) respectively. He also did his Masters degree course in Education Administration (M.Ed) in the same university. Rt. Rev’d Ephraim O. Ikeakor had his Theological Education at Trinity Theological  College, Umuahia from where he graduated with Distinction and obtained Diploma in Theology (Dip.Th.), and Post Graduate Diploma in Religious Studies (PGDip., Rel.) He was made a deacon on 29th June, 1997 by His Lordship, Rt Rev’d. G.N. Otubelu, the then Bishop of Enugu Diocese at St. Batholomew’s Anglican Church, Asata, Enugu. He was preferred a Canon in 1998; and an archdeacon in 2000  by the Rt. Rev’d B.CB. Onyeibor, the Bishop of Abakaliki Diocese. 
Bishop Ephraim O. Ikeakor has been a chaplain to many organizations in the Anglican Church which included AYF, EFAC, Girls Guard, etc. He was the pioneer Clerical Synod Secretary of Abakaliki Diocese from 1997 to 2003. Furthermore, he was also the longest serving Archdeacon/Cathedral Administrator for All Saints’ Cathedral Abakaliki (2000-2007). He was one time (1997-2001) the Chaplain of Bishop Otubelu Convent, Abakaliki. He has also been a member of many boards and agencies both in the church and government. He was elected the bishop of Diocese of Amichi on 12th November, 2008; consecrated on 11th January, 2009 by His Grace, The Most Rev’d Dr. Peter Jasper Akinola, the Archbishop, Metropolitan, and Primate of all Nigeria as at then, and enthroned on 13th January, 2009 as  the pioneer bishop of Amichi Diocese (Anglican Communion).

Bishop Ephraim Ikeakor was a member of Ebonyi State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (1997-2000). Rt. Rev’d Ephraim O. Ikeakor by the special Grace of God is a widely-travelled Crusade, Seminar, Conference, Revival and Convention Speaker both within and outside Nigeria. He hosts a very popular Radio Gospel Program called “IN TOUCH WITH GOD” in five Radio Stations every week, and a Television Programme in Anglican Cable Network Nigeria (ACNN) every Friday at 7.00 pm. He is married to Dame Nkem Ikeakor, and their marriage and home is blessed immensely by God .
